Today is another boring day...nothing special though... I just want to change my spectacles...althought the dental nurse checked my eyesight the previous time and said that I had maintained my eyesight degree quite well...{well...that's impossible because I stared at the computer for hours everyday...and watch Television too!!} ...I still felt that my degree had increased a little and I always can't see the board quite clearly during lessons and during maths and science...I always have to ask Yi Ning for the words and numbers!! Today I took my Science and History test! I think I am going to fail them...especially History! I wrote myself as a girl in the PAST and said alot of rubbish...let me give you an example of what I wrote...oh no..sorry..I can't..perharps I will give the example to you during the march holidays as other classes still have not taken the test yet. Haha...today we did the poem thingy and got a kit-kat bar..{only..:(}...Let me give you the whole poem..I can even memorise it because we all did this poem from secondary one until now!! "They squat*** Under the light of the kerosene lamp bodies wet , heads bowed like a fluck of [don' know what...crows?] Sometimes they take a nap sometimes they spit and cough and sometimes they roll a twist of tobacco and smoke for the rest of the day*** They had lived for several decades by the banks of the Singapore River it's stinking black water is their BLOOD AND SWEAT!!!*** By day they are barge***-punters**********(in dialect"pull...pull...pull...pull...pull..") ragged and bone-men an beggars They played four coloured-cards and some smoked opium Life***(pervert action) has SQUEEZED*** out their strength in life(pervert action) Life***(pervert action) like a heavy concrete bridge has flatten them into pancakes*** When the Singapore River goes exhuasted there*** not far from the concrete bridge shines*** a kerosene lamp they swamed from all directions to perch by the side of the storyteller's store {Then Clarine walked up and say } The storyteller's store is pleasant here they seldom speak but are not lonely that kerosene lamp shares it warmth with them {and we repeat the last sentance...turing 90 degrees to the right..pointing at Billy the Boatman}" the *** means in that part , we got to do actions! isn't it ***** Okay , got to go now! BYE!
