Went to ..... CANON PHOTO MARATHON 2008. It's an ASIAN thing ok. At the exact same time, Canon Photo Marathon 2008 was also held in other Asian countries too. COOL rite? Actually it was kinda boring, but nvm
3 themes were given within an intermediate of 3.5 hours: Change, Dreams and Freedom. For each theme, we were given 3.5 hours to take the photos and then upload the official one to the organisers.

Here are the official three photos which i sent:

    CHANGE

    DREAMS

    FREEDOM

As you can see, all of the 3 pictures are damn random. Especially for the "Dreams". I took that during the time period for "Change" at the Merlion Park there, though i didn't even plan to send it in because it has no link to "Change". I took it cz i thought the mist was kinda interesting. The mist was super unexpected lor. Was walking then suddenly PPPPPSSSSSTTT..... thn quickly rush and take =.=

    Can you spot the guy?

Basically, after the first 3 hours for "Change", we (as in the SA Photog members who actually came) didn't really bother to continue taking. Just send one photo for the remaining themes can liao.

Our zuo bo picture. A guy randomly took a picture of us la! [Thought was our own camera at first, but NO. He like just take thn put it back to his pocket. Seriously.... FOR WAD?!]

Ok, think that's all. bye cycleSSS!!

Got back my Promotional Examination results today.... but wasn't very happy (not totally due to the results though)
Had sucky results for H1 GENERAL PAPER again....ais. And seriously tyco for H1 ECONOMICS though, studied only 1.5 days before the examination, dun think something as lucky as this would happen again!
Kinda regret taking H2 PHYSICS sometimes.... even a good Physics drama like Galileo couldn't make me like Physics more. Sometimes i'm still thinking of Biology lessons in the dark lab , like Mrs Wee telling us facts on chromosomes and neaderthals. Okay i know that 'A' Level Biology would be totally different, but H2 PHYSICS is not very good either.
Know that i could've done better if i didn't study so last minute, but nvm.
Here are my results for my promotional examination:
    H1 GENERAL PAPER - 48 [but moderated to 52]
H1 CHINESE - 70 [Tutor said marking super lenient]
    H1 ECONOMICS - 38/55
    H2 MATHEMATICS - 74
    H2 CHEMISTRY - 75
    H2 PHYSICS - 63
*The Promotional Examination was considered to be quite easy, and yet i've got LOW As and B!

Hope you've learnt a valuable lesson, good luck in the future. I believe that you can do it. Have more confidence. A real life example just stood in front of you today.

Ok, that's all about it. Gonna get shitty grades for PW, hopefully 'A' LEVELS' H1 CHINESE can get at least a B.

    Bye cycleSSS!!

Just finished watching a movie called "Check it out yo" or "Chekeraccho"
It's supposed to be a comedy, but only some parts are quite lame, abit boring.... but oh well. It's NOT BAD overall.
The reason why i wanted to watch it initially: ALOT OF ORANGE RANGE'S SONGS WERE USED. The plot is quite simple. It's about this bunch of high school kids from Okinawa trying to form a hip hop band. Probably that's why alot of OR songs were used. [FYI: OR is from Okinawa]
Then i went to crunchyroll to watch it and guess what? 3 of the 4 main cast looked quite familiar.
The most recognisable one was Inoue Mao. (duno her = slaps. She's Makino Tsukushi from Hana Yori Dango)

The other two was Hiraoka Yuta (He acted as Mikio in Proposal Daisakusen and also acted in the movie, Swing Girls) and Emoto Tasuku.
I think Emoto Tasuku starred in the PV of an Orange Range's song, O2.

The one of the extreme left is Hiraoka Yuta and the one on the extreme right is Emoto Tasuku.
[Sorry for the poor picture qualities]

A trailer of the movie (sorry for this worse quality again!)

Yay tomorrow's WEEKEND. YESH YESH. But guess what? I'll be meeting my PW group mates at Julia's house on Sunday [oh great]... nvm la, it's for PW. No choice.
Yesterday went for CLAY TARGET SHOOTING. Turned out to be not bad afterall. SHOOTING SIA. BANG BANG BANG!! [quite loud]. Cool mans. We went to Chua Chu Kang's National Shooting Centre. The trip there was erms.... kinda creepy. Cemeteries all around. Don't know if is fate because Julia and i happened to be talking about our secondary schools and cemeteries. (Didn't noe Cedar was super near a cemetery, shocked!) Then the bus turned into this ulu road and we reached. We went in this room and the person gave us a briefing about shotguns and how dangerous it could be (very dangerous, and we're actually going to handle it. COOL) He then gave us a pair of ear plugs each (the guys were evil, they were talking about using the ear plugs during other situations.... aiss, nvm)
After putting our belongings in the instructor's car, we went into this "jungle" to prepare to shoot. There were 2 other instructors there and we were told to go to any of the instructors and shoot this stationary metal plate. At first, alot of people didn't dare to go (we saw the demo, it was like BOOM! LOUD) Then finally, some managed to the gather the courage to try and eventually, everyone did. It turned out to be not so scary afterall. The loudness was still OK. (got earplugs and also, so many shots, would get used to the sound). The only thing was the huge recoil. Even until now, my arm still hurts ok. After the stationary target shooting, we shot some flying and rolling clay discs. Some were quite pro leh, probably cz they were from NCC and it's nothing compared to what they used in the past.

Anyway, was watching this documentary/diary or whatever of celebrities' lives. Seems like they're seriously very stressful. It's called "Jounetsu Tairiku". Take a look at Oguri Shun's one.

    Tsk tsk tsk.... Stress!

Called Constance just now, and she was talking about this American variety programme called "I Survive a Japanese Game show". Went youtubed it. Super lame. The host and the audience would do this stupid handsign and shout "MAJIDE!!!!" (the name of the japanese game show). It's about this bunch of Americans, being told that they would be joining a traditional game show, but never expected that they would be sent to Japan to take part in this MAJIDE. The game show is really super lame, bet those Americans experienced super culture shock. But they seemed to enjoy themselves anyway.

The following is the youtube link to the first part of episode 1:

Check out 3:03.... go Japan = WOOO! SUSHI!! and 7:16 .... I'm your mama-san, but i'm not your mama. LOL.

Okay, guess that's all for now. Bye cycleSSS!!

I AM SUPER DUPER BORED NOW. School is restarting tomorrow.... sianssss... seriously no mood to do anything now, EXCEPT GOING OVERSEAS.
I don't know why but now, whenever i watch dramas, it feels really superficial. Erms, i don't know if that's the correct word to describe the feeling. It's like the "you're-just-staring-at-the-box" feeling. Last time, whenever i watch a jdorama, i'll feel like somehow, i'm being "pulled" inside. Now it's really like a 3rd (or even 4th!) person staring plainly at the screen. OH NO. Sighs. My drama-addict self, please come back! (It used to be one of my main enjoyment in life) I don't know if this is the story plots' or acting problem, or just myself. Just hope that it's because the story plots or actors are not as strong as old ones. Luckily, i don't feel that Cat Street gives me this feeling. (ok, maybe just abit) Oh yeah, it may be because last time, i used to download the clips and watch them with BIG SCREENS. Nowadays, i just watch straight from youtube.....maybe....
Anyway, i don't want to go back to school tomorrow! It's like a SUPER PW+CHINESE day. Argh, sians. PW seems really redundant. Sometimes, people just like to twist and turn stuff into their own POV and make others seem super wrong. A project that you spend don't know how long staring at the computer screen and used don't know how many brain cells to crap and recrap and rerecrap and eventually become totally useless after november. Welcome to Project Work! WOOOOOs! *Claps violently*
And guess what? School's ending at 5.30pm tomorrow! Reason: CLAY SHOOTING. I don't know wth is that. My first impression of these 2 words was the Pasar Malam shooting thing.... like the thing to be shot at would be moving horizontally and you must shoot it, except that this time, this "thing" would be made of clay. Sounds lame. But then, i goggled it and most of the results was "Clay Pigeon Shooting". Don't think a MOE school would actually allow us to shoot pigeons. So, just qi dai tomorrow then! (as if i would)
