This is Iwase Ken acted by Yamashita Tomohisa.
This is Yoshida Rei acted by Nagasawa Masami
This is the fairy who allowed him to go back to the times of the pictures in the wedding slidehow.
This is one of the pictures in the slideshow. ..... How I love these 5 ppl's friendship.....From Left: Eri, Mikio, Rei, Ken and Tsuru.
This was how Yamapi looked like when he was doing a superstar pose....jk. This was how Ken looked like when he was travelling to the past.
SPOILERRRRRR
Okay, I've watched till the final episode and the ending was VERY DISAPPOINTING. Although both of them are together,it was like kind of erm..... SPEECHLESS SCENE. The last last last last scene was about Ken pushing a cab [he sat on that after going out of the church after his confession] and then suddenly, there was Rei's voice calling out 'KEN-ZOU!' thn he turned and smiled. IT'S TOTALLY SPEECHLESS RIGHT. TOTALLY NO ENDING FEEL OR WADSOEVER. You've JUST GOT TO WATCH THE FINAL EPISODE TO KNOW WAD I MEANT. Suddenly i felt that the song by MONGOL800 was more suitable than Ashita Hareru Kana. The ending was totally craps. Overall, this was one of the most draggy Jdorama which I've watched. I'm fine with that fact that the whole show was about Ken going back to each photo. However, the show can just end in the first episode if Ken confessed then man!!!
Well.... that was my negative comments for this show. There were alot of good points about this show too. Like alot alot of meanings..... telling people not to regret and stuff. When Ken was travelling in the slideshows, all other scenes were good, all except when he was thinking whether to confess. [Obviously he didn't, which was like waste time] There were also alot of hillarious scenes, like the one with Socrates and the Ito Sensei.
Ito Sensei was Ken and friend's high school teacher.
Seen here, Ito Sensei was still their highschool teacher. He was drinking the last coffee milk available in school which Ken wanted to buy really badly for Rei.
Seen here, Ito Sensei had became a university student and is now a schoolmate of Rei and Eri. (both of them were SHOCKED) He said sumtin like he was interested in ceramics/pottery.... and thus, was studying economics. NO LINK.(well.... the only link was he did mentioned about there's no point making vases if they can't make money) Both Rei and Eri thought he was seriously mistaken.
Seen here, Ken was working in this pachinko parlor when Ito Sensei suddenly appeared with alot of pachinko balls as he wanted to win one of the prizes , which was a turnable (something related to pottery) and also said that "The road to studying pottery is still long and difficult." =.=
After a game of tennis, Ito Sensei told Ken and Mikio "How can the revolution in the potter's wheel incoperate dynamism in one's body? YES! TENNIS IS THE ANSWER!". Seen here, he was skipping away with his friend who called him 'Ito Chan!', leaving both Ken and Mikio dumbfounded.
Seen here, Ito Sensei met Rei and Eri. He finally started on ceramics and was telling them that he was lacking something in ceramics--- a wife. A humble wife potter's wheel. Both Rei and Eri thought he was mistaken again.
Seen here, ITO SENSEI HAD FINALLY STARTED HIS CERAMICS PROPERLY.... however suddenly, he took out something which was already coloured from the make ceramics thingy =.=.
Socrates was a classmate of Ken and friends during their high school times and also entered the same university as them. He was in the same stream as Ken during their univerisity times.
This was Socrates in their high school times. He was in the same baseball team as Ken and others. Seen here, he was collecting the sand/dirt from the court after their team had lost and said "It is the regret and sighs quietly left behind by the players"
Ken wanted to change place with Socrates as he wanted to sit beside Rei. As usual, Socrates was sitting...erm....straight. Then when he heard Ken wanting to change place with him, he was like SHOCKED and stood up in an OMG!! manner and said "With me? You really want my Chi (human energy) that much?". Then suddenly he became very serious and said "Even after the Dynasty has fallen, this rare flag remains here today. From its whiteness, no evil flows...."
After travelling back to the past, Ken had forgotten that he was in a different faculty with Rei during their university times. So, when he tried to follow Rei, he was scolded by Socrates who said "Are you a traitor? Are you going to turn your back on the literature faculty and defect to the architecture faculty?!". Note: He had grown a goatee.
Tsuru was like wondering how long can he graduate to the sukiyaki meal set (An expensive meal set) when he heard Socrates ordering it. Both Ken and Tsuru ran to him and Socrates was saying "Saving the beef from the black and murky sea...floating up gently on the yellow lake of egg....Ohh...Is there any other art that surpasses this?! HUH MASTER!!(calling out to the shopkeeper and Ken said that Socrates was crazy)" Tsuru then said "Let me taste that art too!". Socrates that stared at them and replied "There're only three things I'd like to offer to this young man. Namely, work! Work more! Work to the death. By Bismarck( a 19th century European statesman who was invovled in the unification of Germany."
LOL THIS WAS ONE OF THE SCENES I LOVED MOST IN THIS SHOW!! Ken and friends were in the bar, talking about the famous Winter Sonata drama. SOCRATES WAS DRESSED UP AS BAE YONG JUN He was also saying all those details like "Winter Sonata was first broadcast in Korea on January 2002. And on April 2003 in Japan. The average viewership in Korea was 23.1%, with 28.8% as the highest audience viewship for an episode. ..... Winter Sonata.... and the you of that summer, too.... are on the other side of dreams...."
Seen here, Socrates was like acting. He was drinking blood and then spilling it out. Mikio then sort of commented him. However, to Mikio's surprise, the director praised Socrates as a genius!.... which was quite erm....weird
While the 5 of them were shopping, they suddenly see Socates as a salesman surrounded by alot of people. Socrates was telling his customers "I was pulled away from the seat of the king by the wind! If you want to behold it, then you can! Even if all people have weak arms, you can still easily put this down, right?", then showed his products and alot of people were rushing for it.
Shown here, Socrates had became so popular as a salesman that he had a TV shopping channel. Socrates being a salesman was kind of shocking.... since he was supposed to be very 'literature-like'.....
LOL. This was the New Year's Kohaku!(Kohaku Uta Gassen) It's an annual singing contest held by a local TV Station during New Year's Eve. There are basically 2 teams, Red and White and the ones who decide the winning team are the audience. In this drama, however, it's their own mimic of the Kohaku. In the first picture, Tsuru was impersonating Kitajima Saburo who had participated in the Kohaku for 43 times already. Tsuru was singing Hakodate no Onna (Woman of Hakodate) . In the second picture, Ito Sensei was impersonating Akiko Wada, who had participated in the Kohaku 30 times already. He was singing Nihaime no Osake (Your second cup of Sake). In the third picture, Socrates wasn't impersonating anybody. He was just wearing a high school uniform and singing Koukou Sennan Sei (Third year high school student, a very old-fashioned song)
Finally. FINISHED!! Proposal Daisakusen is not VERY BAD but also not VERY GOOD. The beginning portion and the middle was still acceptable as all the characters and plot are ok. Some parts were also quite excellant too. [You only find the part when Ken wants to confess draggy] Plus there are still meanings and hilarious scenes. Although I've mentioned it as abit draggy... it's only considered draggy for a Jdorama.... it's dragginess is like NOTHING compared to those Kdramas....
